FAQ Questions and Answers
1. Q: How long does it take to ship?
A: Generally 2 weeks but ask when ordering as sometimes I can do better.

2. Q: How do your cages hold humidity?
A: They hold humidity and heat very well because they are 3/4 thick unlike plastics.

3. Q: Can you make special cage sizes?
A: Yes I can, but I offer standard sizes with the best material yields.

4. Q: Do your cages come assembled?
A: They are shipped flat, so some light assembly is required, but everything is self aligning and every screw hole is pre lasered.

5. Q: Do your racks have to use lids?
A: i can make them either way, but it's best to use the lids with wood. I can also use plastics for the shelves if lidless is required.

6. Q: Do your cages need to be sealed?
A: Yes, you should run a bead of silicone around the inside edege to prevent moisture from getting in the seams. The seams are extremely tight as they are all laser machined.

7. Q: What are your cages made out of?
A: They are made of 3/4 melamine just like your counter tops at home that you use every day. They resist moisture and are easy to sterilize with all commercially available cage disinfectants.

8. Q: What are the fronts made out of?
A: The fronts are made of a furniture grade plywood (not lumberyard plywood). It is stained to preserve color and then sealed with helsman polyurethane.

9. Q: Does the laser engraving cost extra?
A: No, they are part of what makes BoaMaster Cages special and are included in every cage. Ask and i'll put your name on them for no additional charge.

10. Q: Can I engrave your animal on the cage?
A: I do have some animals that I have digitized. Ask and i'll see if I have it.

11. Q: Do your racks use belly or back wall heat?
A: They are setup to use either, your choice.

12. Q: What do the racks include?
A: They typically are just the rack, however I can supply anything and everything you require. Just ask for full pricing.

13. Q: Can I use boxes that I already have in your rack?
A: Yes, just send me one and i'll price you out a rack for your box.

14. Q: Are your cages stackable?
A: Yes, you stack the single cages very well and they will not sag. They can't sag because of the way they were made.

15. Q: What size cage do I need for my snake?
A: The 4ft cage is great for beardies, corns, balls and boas.
The 6ft cage is great for smaller Burmese and surinames as well as smaller monitors.
The 8ft cage is for retics, Burmese, water and croc monitors.

16. Q: Can I use a heat lamp in my cage?
A: Yes, I can provide a heat lamp grating in the top of the cage for heat lamps. For $25 per cutout, they can be added to any single cage.

17. Q: Can you make alterations to a cage design?
A: Yes, just about anything can be done, just call me to discuss.

18. Q: Can lights be added to the cage?
A: yes, most any type can be used. Ropelights, fluorescent, halogen, ect.
